About This Site

Finding someone in custody in Okaloosa County starts with one question: which system is holding them? The county jail, the state prison network, the federal system, and juvenile detention each keep their own records in their own place. This private reference site pulls those rosters, locators, and contacts together so a search starts in the right spot instead of a dead end.

Why We Built This Site

Florida keeps most jail and inmate information open to the public, but the hard part is rarely the law. It is knowing where the person actually is. The county sheriff makes arrests, county Corrections runs the Crestview jail and its roster for people held before trial or serving short sentences, the state corrections department keeps a separate locator for sentenced prisoners, and federal and immigration detainees turn up in other systems entirely. We built this site to gather those rosters, locators, contacts, visitation details, and request steps into one place, so a family member or attorney does not have to learn the whole map first.

What You Will Find Here

The pages are organized around the questions people actually ask:

  • Inmate lookup help across jail inmate records, jail roster mugshots, and court records after a jail arrest.
  • A page for each detention facility in Okaloosa County, with its address, phone, and visitation rules.
  • Step-by-step help for the county jail roster and the statewide inmate locator.
  • How to request a booking record or mugshot, and what kind of turnaround to expect.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. We have no tie to the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office, county Corrections, any Florida jail or prison, the Department of Juvenile Justice, or any other government agency. That honesty matters, because it sets clear limits on what we can offer.

  • We cannot release, hold, or transfer anyone in custody.
  • We cannot post bond, schedule a visit, or send money for you.
  • We cannot give legal advice of any kind.
  • We cannot promise that every phone number, fee, or address stays current.

Only the sheriff's office or the corrections department can confirm current custody, charges, or release. This site can point you to the right roster, but the official answer always comes from them.

Search Partners

Some pages include search boxes powered by third-party providers that set their own prices and run their own results. When one of those tools leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee, which is what keeps it free to use. We do not control the pricing those partners charge or the results they return, and using a partner tool is always optional.
